I meant to post yesterday but life got in the way.
Experiment still up and running. I am quite confident that I no longer have need of my 'aloe juice fix' every day, and that I may rarely, if ever, need the aloe again.

Way cool.

The other signal that I am more stabilized than ever comes from another part of my morning ritual - e.g. the half lemon squoze into boiled water (I call it lemon tea).
When I started with this part, I had to drink an entire big cup (20 oz) of the stuff to move my bowel. Now I barely get to sip a few sips, and a big cup can last all week (covered and kept in the fridge). I also used to have to drink a pile of water (1-2 12 oz glasses) to help move. Now I just finish off my leftover bedtime glass, occasionally adding another 6-8 oz.

Routine is a wonderful thing.
Making BMs when ready, e.g. allowing the body to function instead of holding it in, is a wonderful thing. And an aid toward relief of the big "C" (constipation).

Yoga and daily exercize are keys to regularity. Those yoga stretches and movements are so good for circulation, digestion, flexibility, stress relief, and positive energy!

Tuesday I got to teach a yoga class! I have been wondering what that might be like, and now I know.
It's exhausting!
Try demonstrating, with perfect form, talking, and breathing too! WHOA. Oh, and all this on a squishy floor (carpeted) - which is fine for sitting poses but not for standing and balancing poses (my faves).

YOGIS! Watch out, here I come.

Later.

Day one of the aloe juice elimination experiment. No problems. BM as usual.
Worked my abs on Saturday - today is the two-day-soreness day. Yikes! Did some yoga stretches for them yesterday, and need to repeat, and repeat, and repeat!

Drank too much red wine last night. Am dry and not as perky as I'd like to be, not to mention the slightly sore head...
Oh, and "too much red wine" for me is a full glass (I usually drink half that - what a wimp!). Had a good time though!

Not much to tell. Stable bowel since last blog. Am gaining strength since the hospital saga. Trying to build up endurance, but it takes time, and I am impatient.

I have decided to begin other experimentation - reduce aloe juice intake and see what, if any, effects. If none, that is one less 'dependency' or intake, to worry about. Since I usually mix it with fruit juice and fiber, I don't see that there will be much impact. But, one never knows about the subtleties of IBS.

Once I determine results of that experiment, I will try another - probably the morning lemon in hot water routine.

It's gonna be a fun summer!
Wait for the updates!
