Dinner: grilled turkey burgers, steamed artichokes, and a tossed salad with a dressing of raw organic apple cider and flax seed oil.
Lunch: a delicious tossed salad and a veggie burger from Trader Joes. Note: these burgers are awesome, but not really "scd-legal". Dine at your own discretion. :-)
Breakfast: canaloupe and apples. Friday, August 04, 2000 A wise woman keeps telling that when sitting at my desk all day using the computer stretching is very important!
I've been doing a bit of fishing lately. Stay tuned to hear what I catch..as well as what catches me!
Lunch: Trader Joe's chicken masala and stringbeans. Thursday, August 03, 2000 Dinner: curried eggplant and cauliflower, Laura's beet soup, chicken.
Lunch: tossed salad, grilled sausages.
Snack: a banana (thanks for asking).
I've been up all night (couldn't sleep). So, for the last hour or so, I was out in the backyard watching shooting stars and trying to identify constellations and galaxies. It was really beautiful! Breakfast: fresh fruit. Tuesday, August 01, 2000 Dinner: Grilled chicken fajita salad @ Chili's, no tortilla strips, dressing on the side.
Breakfast: fresh fruit. Monday, July 31, 2000 Marc Reiser, the author of Cadillac Desert, passed away from colon cancer over the weekend; he was in his early fifties. Cadillac Desert: The American West and Its Disappearing Water, documents the history of the struggle to discover and control water in the American West. A tale of rivers diverted and damned, political corruption and intrigue, billion-dollar battles over water rights, and economic and ecological disaster. Winner of the National Book Critics Circle Award.
Dinner: Laura's homemade vegetable soup of beets, carrots, parsley, and celery--awesome! That, and grilled turkey and chicken sausages, and leftover stringbeans with garlic.
Busy, busy! Sunday, July 30, 2000 Dinner: grilled salmon, sauteed string beans with garlic, and a tossed salad with unfiltered organic apple cider vinegar and olive oil.
