Nirvana of Peristalsis

(also known as Mike's Flog)

A Regimen for Remission
This log tracks my regimen of attitude, exercise, stress management, and SCD foods. Since I started this regimen in 1997, I've been able to keep my Crohn's in a drug-free remission.

Monkey-see,
monkey-don't

Even though I may have experimented beyond the SCD from time to time, one must remember that everyone is different. Follow the intro diet for 3-5 days, and stick with the SCD until you are completely symptom free for at least one year before experimenting.

Dinner (yesterday): @ Habana-Cuba Restaurant, San Jose. Awesome salad and chicken fricase. Oh yes, and I did sample some of their fine non-SCD fried plantains... mmmmmmm! Remember, do as Elaine says, not as I do!

News alert: I've got a new job and I'm out of town, busily learning about my new job. So until I get back to Tucson, please feel free to visit the rest of my site or visit the scdiet.org site for more SCD fun. Better yet, check out Raman's Sex and the SCD!

Lunch: grilled spicy turkey sausages from Wild Oats, tossed salad with flax seeds, and a bit of leftover quiche. All the while watching a black racer (a snake of the Sonoran desert) slithering through our backyard in search of its own lunch...
