Nirvana of Peristalsis

(also known as Mike's Flog)

A Regimen for Remission
This log tracks my regimen of attitude, exercise, stress management, and SCD foods. Since I started this regimen in 1997, I've been able to keep my Crohn's in a drug-free remission.

Monkey-see,
monkey-don't

Even though I may have experimented beyond the SCD from time to time, one must remember that everyone is different. Follow the intro diet for 3-5 days, and stick with the SCD until you are completely symptom free for at least one year before experimenting.

In these tough times, if good ideas can still get funding, can bad ideas still get funding? I always thought there was no such thing as a bad idea!

It's a windy, dusty, exciting day here in the old pueblo..the weather is a-changing! Large, billowing white clouds are rolling in on all sides, and they are getting more and more gray as the hours pass. Another winter storm is brewing!

Live SCDiet Chat: Wed 2/7 @ 9PM EST

John Chalmers and I are hosting a Live SCDiet Chat event Wednesday, February 7 at 9:00 pm EST (GMT - 5). We will be getting acquainted with the live chat site and hosting general discussions/questions regarding the SCD.

If the chat occurs during your dinner hour, just bring your plate and utensils over to the computer and join us.

The chat site can accomodate about 50 participants so if you cannot get on, just wait a short while and try again.

To join the chat, just visit www.scdiet.com and click the live chat button. See you online Wednesday evening!

Dinner: delicious chicken cattiatore! Dessert: SCD yogurt. I happen to prefer the yogurt from my first batch. It might be the type of milk I used this time (which was unhomogenized) which gave the yogurt a "lumpier" consistency and a less tart taste. That said.. it's still quite good!
mhs@20:12

Breakfast: fruit, nuts, cheese. The yogurt is finished, and is cooling in the refrigerator. I look forward to enjoying it after my trip to the gym.
